Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

LECTURE DE CD
OP�RATIONS DE BASE
Pour arrêter la lecture, appuyez sur la touche s. Pour interrompre temporairement la lecture (pause), appuyez sur la touche a. Appuyez une seconde fois pour la reprendre. Pour localiser un point particulier pendnt la lecture, maintenez la touche f ou g pressée et relâchez au point souhaité. Pour sauter au début d'une piste pendant la lecture, appuyez plusieurs fois sur la touche f ou g. Pour retirer la disque, appuyez sur la touche CD OPEN. Pour démarrer la lecture quand l'appareil est hors tension (fonction de lecture directe) Appuyez sur la touche CD. L'appareil est mis sous tension et la lecture du disque chargé commence. Pour remplacer le disque avant la lecture, appuyez sur la touche CD OPEN pour ouvrir le logement à disque. Sélection d'une piste avec la télécommande Appuyez sur les touches numérotées et sur la touche +10 pour sélectionner une piste. Exemple: Pour sélectionner la piste 25, appuyez sur les touches +10, +10 et 5. Pour sélectionner la piste 10, appuyez sur les touches +10 et 0. La lecture de la piste sélectionnée démarre et continue jusqu'à la fin du disque.
CHARGEMENT DE DISQUES
Appuyez sur la touche CD, appuyez sur la touche CD OPEN pour ouvrir le logement à disque et chargez un disque avec l'étiquette dirigée vers le haut. Puis appuyez à nouveau sur la touche CD OPEN pour refermer le logement à disque.
REMARQUE
� L�appareil peut ne pas lire les CD-R/RW enregistrés sur un ordinateur personnel ou sur certains types d�enregistreurs de CD-R/RW en raison des différences dans la plate-forme d�enregistrement. � Ne pas coller d�auto-collants ni d�étiquettes sur les deux faus (face enregistreé et face avec l�étiquette) d�un CD-R/ RW. Cela pourrait provoquer un mauvais fonctionnement. � Lors du rechargement d�un CD-R/RW non enregistré, l�ouverture du tiroir du disque peut prendre environ 15 secondes après la pression sur la touche z CD OPEN. � N'utilisez pas de CD avec une forme irrégulière (exemples: ceux en forme de coeur, octogonaux). Cela pourrait provoquer un mauvais fonctionnement. � Pour charger un disque de 8 cm, placez-le sur le cercle interne du plateau. � Ne placez pas plus d'un disque compact sur le plateau.
Le nombre total de plages et la durée de lecture totale s�affichent. Cela prendra environ 15 secondes lors du chargement d�un CD-RW.
