Thank you for having the manual I needed for an older model Aiwa stero I had found on Ebay --- I wanted the Aiwa because I had tapes and cd's but I did not have a manual as to how to operate the system... I found what I needed and it has enabled me to set the system up for my enjoyment.

Fit the lower side of the front panel to @) -@.
You can detach the front panel from the unit and carry it with you when you leave your car unattended. When you carry the front panel out of your car, use the supplied carrying case.

Close the front panel.

Press and hold MUTE for more than 2
seconds to turn the unit off.

Do not press OPEN by accident when you push the front panel to secure it in above procedure. q Do not touch the connector on the reverse side of the front panel, as doing so may contaminate the connector and cause a poor connection resulting in a malfunction. Security Lamp M/hen the front panel is detached, you can find an LIED lamp on the front side of the unit. This lamp is designed to deter theft, and continues to flash when the front panel is detached. This unit is not equipped with any other security systems such as a security alarm, so there are limitations to its effectiveness.

anything on the panel. c When you carry the front panel in the carrying case, do not drop or apply mechanical shock to the panel, and never let the panel become wet.
