BASIC OPERATION
1 Press the TUNEIWBAND button to set one of the bands. + See illustration u -l. m 2 Check whether the manual tuning mode is selected. + See illustration u -2.
In the manual tuning mode, the preset number is not displayed. (@in the display shows the position of the preset number.) If the preset number is displayed, press the D PRESET/ TUNING button so that the preset number goes out.

Each time it is pressed, the frequency is changed. To search for a station quickly (Auto search) Press the + DOWN or M UP button for 1 to 2 seconds, and a station is searched for automatically. After tuning in to a station, the search stops. The search may not stop at a station with a very weak signal. When an FM stereo broadcast is difficult to listen to Press the FM MODE button on the remote control while pressing the SHIFT button to extinguish “AUTO in the display. + See illustration u Background noise is reduced though the sound is monaural. To restore stereo reception, press it again.

The unit can store a total of 32 stations. They can be tuned in to by selecting their preset numbers. It is possible to store stations of any band in the order of your choice.
