Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Lorsque l�horloge est reglee, Ie signe �:� entre Ies heures et Ies minutes cli~note. Lors du premier branchement du cordon secteur a une prise de courant apres I�achat ou quand Ie reglage de I�horloge est annule du fait d�une interruption d�alimentation, la totalite de I�affichage de I�horloge clignote. Utilisez la telecommande. Le temporisateur permet de mettre I�appareil automatiquement au bout d�un temps specifie. Utilisez la telecommande. hors tension

Pour faire apparaltre est en service I�horloge quand un autre affichage Temps specifie Quand Ie temporisateur est en service, I�afficheur est plus sombre que d�habitude. Pour verifier Ie temps restant avant la mise hors tension Appuyez une fois sur SLEEP tout en maintenant SHIFT enfoncee. Le temps restant est affiche pendant 4 secondes. Pour mettre [e temporisateur hors service Appuyez deux fois sur SLEEP tout en maintenant SHIFT enfoncee de telle fagon que �SLEEPoFF� apparaisse sur I�afficheur.
Appuyer sur CLOCK tout en appuyant sur SHIFT. IJheure est affichee pendant quatre secondes puis I�affichage initial reapparalt. Toutefois, I�heure ne peut pas &re affichee pendant l�enregistrement. Pour passer au format de 24 heures Appuyez une fois sur CLOCK tout en maintenant SHIFT enfoncee, puis clans Ies 4 secondes qui suivent sur W. Pour revenir au format de 12 heures, procedez de la m~me maniere. Si I�affichage de I�horloge clignote Si l�affichage de I�horloge clignote, cela signitie que I�horloge s�est arr$tee du fait d�une interruption d�alimentation ou du fait que Ie cordon secteur a 616 debranche. Lheure courante doit 6tre reglee de nouveau.
