Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

I highly recommend this.
To record part of the CD always starts from the first track. To start in the middle of a track, play the CD first and press 1I SET for CD at the point you wish to start recording from. Then, press ..-rhe pause mode for CD button is released automatically and recc)rding starts.

II Preparation

To erase a recording A previous recording is erased when a new recording is made on that part of that tape. 1 Insert the tape you want to erase into Deck 1.
Use Type I (normal)
tapes only.
o Set the tape to the point where recording will start. * Note that recording is done on only one side of the tape.
2 F)ress TAPE and stop all the tape operation in Deck 2. 3 Windup the tape to the point where the erasure is to be started. 4 F�ress q on Deck 1 to start the erasure.
7 Insert the tape to be recorded on into Deck 1. Insertthetape with theside tobe recorded on first facing out

2 Press one of the function buttons and prepare the source to be recorded. ~ record from a CD, press CD and load the disc(s).
~record from a tage, press TAPE. Then, insert the original tape into Deck 2 and play it. To record from a radio broadcast, press TUNER/BAND and tune into a station. To record from a connected source, press PHONO or VIDEO/AUX and play.
About cassette tapes

To prevent accidental erasure, break off the plastic tabs on the cassette tape after recording with a screwdriver or other pointed tool.

To record on the tape again, cover the tab openings with adhesive tape, etc. �120-minute or longer tapes are extremely thin and easily deformed or damaged. They are not recommended. Take up any slack in the tape with a pencil or similar tool before use. Slack tape may break or jam in the mechanism.
To stop recording, press s/A on Deck 1. To pause recording, press II on Deck 1. �To resume recording, press it again. To record selected tracks of the CD
