 HD-600 KENWOOD Owner's Manual by John Copeland;
Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much... But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings. I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too! Top marks. John Copeland Glasgow Scotland

4. Effects and EQ (equalizer)
If you want to record the sound of the connected devices without any further processing, proceed to â5. Recording.â If you want to use the D32XD/D16XDâs internal effects and 4-band parametric EQ to process the sound before it is recorded, read the following sections âApplying effects to the input soundâ and âAdjusting the EQ.â

Applying effects to the input sound
Itâs also easy to apply the D32XD/D16XDâs effects after recording the sound (âp.29).

Hereâs how to apply effects to the input from your guitar. (1) Press the EFFECT key and select the âRouting A [*EFFRouting]â tab page. (2) Press the InsEFF1 IN/TR cell (it will become highlighted) and use the +/â keys to select âIN.â IN stands for Input, and TR stands for Track; choose IN if you want to apply the effect to the input sound, or TR if you want to apply the effect to the playback. (3) Press the InsEFF1 CH cell (highlighted) and use the +/â keys to select â1.â (4) Press the InsEFF1 edit cell (highlighted). Then press the Select button. (5) The Select Effect Category dialog box will appear. Here you can select what type of effect you want to use on the guitar. For this example, select âDynamics&Filterâ from the âMonoâ category.

(6) The Select EFF Program dialog box will appear. Here you can select the effect. For this example press âCompressorâ and then press the OK button. With this setting, âCompressorâ can be applied as insert effect 1 to the sound from input 1. You can apply effects to the mic and keyboard inputs in the same way. (7) Set InsEFF2 to IN, and CH to 2. For the InsEFF2 edit cell, select the âRoomâ effect from âReverb&Delayâ in the âMonoâ category. (8) Set InsEFF3 to IN and CH to 3, and set InsEFF4 to IN and CH to 4. For the InsEFF3 edit cell, select the âRotary Speakerâ effect from âSFX&etcâ in the âStereoâ category. Because this is a stereo effect, the same effect will automatically be selected for InsEFF4. (âp.56 âEffectsâ) For details on editing the parameters of the effects you selected, refer to â4. Editing the effectsâ (âp.59).
