Turning off the operation beep sound
You can turn off the beep sound that is heard from your headphones/earphones when you operate your CD player.
Turning off the LCD�s backlight
While you are using the rechargeable batteries or dry batteries, the LCD�s backlight turns on for about 5 seconds every time you press a button. However, you can turn off the backlight to save the battery power.

Remove the power source (AC power adaptor, rechargeable batteries or dry batteries) from the CD player. Connect the power source while pressing x/CHARGE on the CD player or x on the remote control for about one second or more.

Remove the rechargeable batteries or dry batteries from the CD player. Insert the batteries while pressing PLAY MODE.
To turn on the beep sound Remove the power source and then connect the power source without pressing x/CHARGE or x.
To turn on the LCD�s backlight Remove the batteries and then insert the batteries without pressing PLAY MODE.
About the LCD�s backlight
The LCD�s backlight is always turned on when using the AC power adaptor.
