I was having a hard time finding the problem with this Mackie 1604 unit. I didn't have a schematic. Went looking on the web and found your site and the price was more then reasonable. Ordered it and within the hour had the manual and within 15 minutes had the unit fixed. Best $4.99 I ever spent. Thank you.

This is a service manual in every sense of the word ( French and German versions of the text are included, as well as English..)
There are explanations of the mechanical and electrical functions, plenty of mechanical drawings, and the needed schematics. The quality of the scanning is excellent - all the component values are clearly legible - and very usefully there are pcb component layouts, so you can find a component on the schematic, and then very quicky pinpoint its physical location on the relevant pcb.
I cannot see how I can give this manual any less than the maximum 5 stars! Great value for money, which will pay for itself immediately. Excellent all round!

Duplex-Einheit
Durch die Installation der Duplex-Einheit wird der Duplex-Empfang ermöglicht, bei dem das Papier im Inneren des Faxgeräts umgedreht wird, so da� auch die Rückseite bedruckt werden kann. Wenn alle empfangenen Dokumente gleich breit sind, werden die Dokumente sowohl auf die Vorderseite als auch auf die Rückseite des Papiers gleichen Formats gedruckt. * Um die Duplex-Faxempfangsfunktion verwenden zu können, mu� sie im voraus eingeschaltet werden. * Falls die Duplex-Faxempfangsfunktion eingeschaltet ist, werden alle Seiten eines Fax-Empfangs zuerst vorübergehend im Speicher gespeichert � unabhängig von der Empfangsmoduseinstellung � und dann nacheinander ausgedruckt. q Duplex-Faxempfang EIN/AUS * Falls Sie das Verfahren zwischendurch abbrechen möchten, drücken Sie die Gesamtlöschtaste. Das Bedienungsfeld schaltet auf die Ausgangsmoduseinstellungen zurück. 1. Drücken Sie die Taste EINSTELLUNGEN.

Hinzufügen von Bitmap-Speicherkapazität
Durch wahlweises Hinzufügen von 4 MB an BitmapSpeicherkapazität, können die Dokumente im Bildqualitätsmodus ULTRAFEIN übertragen und empfangen werden. Um den Bildqualitätsmodus ULTRAFEIN zu wählen, drücken Sie die Qualitätswahltaste, so da� die Qualitätsanzeige ULTRAFEIN leuchtet.
2. Drücken Sie die Taste 'Cursor aufwärts' oder 'Cursor abwärts', um die Einstellung �2 seitigen Emp� zu wählen.

4. Drücken Sie die Taste 'Cursor aufwärts' oder 'Cursor abwärts', um zu wählen, ob die Duplex-Faxempfangsfunktion ein- oder ausgeschaltet werden soll. * Die derzeitige Einstellung ist durch einen Stern (*) auf dem Meldungsdisplay gekennzeichnet.
5. Drücken Sie die Eingabetaste. Die Einstellung der DuplexFaxempfangsfunktion ist abgeschlossen.
