Sweet! I won the item on eBay and couldn't adjust the geometry or even keep a steady picure. This guide has the full schematics (not available anywhere else as far as I could tell), and was a bargain for the wealth of knowledge it contains. POWER SUPPLY DURING REPAIRS
In this unit, about 10 seconds after power is supplied to the battery terminal using the regulated power supply (8.4V), the power is shut off so that the unit cannot operate. This following two methods are available to prevent this. Take note of which to use during repairs. Method 1. Use the AC power adaptor. Method 2. Connect the servicing remote commander RM-95 (J-6082-053-B) to the LANC jack, and set the commander switch to the �ADJ� side.

TO TAKE OUT A CASSETTE WHEN NOT EJECT (FORCE EJECT)
Remove the cabinet (R) section. Remove the front panel block assembly. Remove the BAT, EVF block assembly. Remove the lens block assembly. Remove the mechanism deck and the VC-350 board. Open the VC-350 board. Disconnect CN9002 (27P, 0.3mm) of VC-350 board. Supply +4.5V from the DC power supply to the loading motor and unload with pressing the cassette compartment.
Loading motor Disconnect the flexible board from CN9002 of VC-350 board.
