Wellll again thank you very much fast and effective. Clear and well done for such an old TV!!!!
 ;
It has all the information you will need to fix it. The main circuit diagram is only A4 but being a PDF, you can print it to any size - I did it on two sheets of A3 and it didnt lose any detail - just made it readable when pinned up above the bench. I've found the fault, just need to buy some obscure bits to get it going again!
I cant fault the process, I paid for the manual in the morning and it was ready to download by lunch time.

Very good copy in a 54 pages PDF archive. This is my sixth purchase here. :)

Another excellent buy! File too clear and explanatory.

A manual hard to find. It was very helpful to restore my device.
5-4. SERVICE MODE
4-1. ADJUSTMENT REMOTE COMMANDER
The adjustment remote commander is used for changing the calculation coefficient in signal processing, EVR data, etc. The adjustment remote commander performs bi-directional communication with the unit using the remote commander signal line (LANC). The resultant data of this bi-directional communication is written in the non-volatile memory. 1. Using the Adjustment Remote Commander 1) Connect the adjustment remote commander to the LANC terminal. 2) Set the HOLD switch of the adjustment remote commander to HOLD (SERVICE position). If it has been properly connected, the LCD on the adjustment remote commander will display as shown in Fig. 5-4-1. 2. Precautions Upon Using the Adjustment Remote Commander Mishandling of the adjustment remote commander may erase the correct adjustment data at times. To prevent this, it is recommended that all adjustment data be noted down before beginning adjustments and new adjustment data after each adjustment.
