Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Funktionen des Ausgangseinstellmenüs
�ndern des UKW-Abstimmrasters (STEP)
Bei Normaleinstellung von 50 kHz für Suchlaufabstimmung auf UKW ändert sich das Abstimmraster auf 100 kHz, wenn die Betriebsart AF oder TA aktiviert wird. Es könnte vorteilhaft sein, das Abstimmraster für AF-Betrieb auf 50 kHz einzustellen.
1. Drücken Sie die Taste AUDIO und wählen Sie UKW-AbstimmrasterBetriebsart (STEP) im Ausgangseinstellmenü. 2. Wählen Sie das gewünschte Abstimmraster mit den Tasten 2/3.
Hinweis:
� Für manuelle Abstimmung bleibt das Abstimmraster auf 50 kHz eingestellt. � Durch vorübergehendes Abtrennen der Batterie wird das Abstimmraster auf 100 kHz zurückgeschaltet.
Umschalten des Auto-PI-Suchlaufs (A-PI)
Während Vorwahlsender-PI-Suchlaufbetriebs können Sie die Auto-PI-Suchlauffunktion ein- und ausschalten. (Siehe �PI-Suchlauffunktionen� auf Seite 11.)
1. Drücken Sie die Taste AUDIO und wählen Sie die Auto-PISuchlaufbetriebsart (A-PI) im Ausgangseinstellmenü. 2. Der Auto-PI-Suchlaufs kann mit den Tasten 5/� ein- und ausgeschalter (ON/OFF) werden.
