- Removing the Case (not shown) 1. Remove the Case.

Remove the four screws.
Disconnect the connector and then remove the CD Mechanism Module. - Removing the Detachable Assy (Fig.1)

Release the two latchs and then remove the Detachable Assy.

Straighten the tabs at two locations indicated and then remove the Tuner Amp Unit.
