Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

Audio-Einstellungen
Drücken Sie 2 oder 3, bis die gewünschte Frequenz auf dem Display erscheint. 2.5k�4k�6.3k�10k (Hz) 4 Drücken Sie 5 oder �, um den Höhenpegel einzustellen. Bei jedem Druck auf 5 oder � wird der Höhenpegel erhöht bzw. verringert. +6 bis �6 wird angezeigt, während der Pegel erhöht bzw. verringert wird.
2 Drücken Sie AUDIO, um Sub-W1 zu wählen. Wenn die Subwoofer-Controller-Einstellung S.W Control:EXT ist, können Sie Sub-W1 nicht wählen. Drücken Sie AUDIO, bis Sub-W1 auf dem Display erscheint. 3 Drücken Sie 5, um den SubwooferAusgang einzuschalten. Sub-W1 Normal erscheint im Display. Der Subwoofer-Ausgang ist nun eingeschaltet. � Der Subwoofer-Ausgang kann ausgeschaltet werden, indem man � drückt. 4 Drücken Sie 2 oder 3, um die Phase des Subwoofer-Ausgangs zu wählen. Drücken Sie 2, um Gegenphase zu wählen, und Rev. erscheint im Display. Drücken Sie 3, um Normalphase zu wählen, und Normal erscheint im Display.
Einstellen von Loudness
Die Loudness-Funktion schafft einen Ausgleich für die Schwäche des menschlichen Gehörs bei der Wahrnehmung von leisen Tönen im Tiefenund Höhenbereich. 1 Drücken Sie OPEN, um die Frontplatte zu öffnen. 2 Drücken Sie AUDIO, um Loud zu wählen. Drücken Sie AUDIO, bis Loud angezeigt wird. 3 Drücken Sie 5, um Loudness einzuschalten. Der Lautheitpegel (z.B. Loud Mid) erscheint auf dem Display. 4 Drücken Sie 2 oder 3, um den Pegel zu wählen. Drücken Sie 2 oder 3, bis der gewünschte Pegel auf dem Display erscheint. Low (niedrig) �Mid (mittel) �High (hoch) 5 Drücken Sie �, um Loudness auszuschalten. Loud OFF erscheint auf dem Display.

Wenn der Subwoofer-Ausgang eingeschaltet ist, können Absperrfrequenz und Ausgangspegel des Subwoofers eingestellt werden. 1 Drücken Sie OPEN, um die Frontplatte zu öffnen. 2 Drücken Sie AUDIO, um Sub-W2 zu wählen. Wenn der Subwoofer-Ausgang eingeschaltet ist, können Sie Sub-W2 wählen. Drücken Sie AUDIO, bis Sub-W2 80 (Hz) auf dem Display erscheint. � Wenn der Subwoofer zuvor eingestellt worden ist, wird die entsprechende Frequenz angezeigt, wie z.B. 50 (Hz) oder 125 (Hz). 3 Drücken Sie 2 oder 3, um die Absperrfrequenz zu wählen. Drücken Sie 2 oder 3, bis die gewünschte Grenzfrequenz im Display erscheint. 50�80�125 (Hz)
Gebrauch des Subwoofer-Ausgangs
Dieses Gerät ist mit einem Subwoofer-Ausgang ausgestattet, der ein- oder ausgeschaltet werden kann. 1 Drücken Sie OPEN, um die Frontplatte zu öffnen.
