Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

CD-Ladeschlitz
Falls eine CD eingelegt ist, schlie�t die Frontplatte automatisch. Mit dem eingebauten CD-Player kann jeweils eine Standard12-cm- oder 8-cm-(Single)-CD abgespielt werden. Verwenden Sie zum Abspielen einer 8-cm-CD keinen Adapter. Hinweis:
� Wenn eine Disc nicht ganz eingesetzt werden kann oder Wiedergabe nicht möglich ist, vergewissern Sie sich, da� die bespielte Seite nach unten weist. Drücken Sie die Taste EJECT, und überprüfen Sie die Disc auf Beschädigung, bevor Sie sie wieder einsetzen. � Wenn der eingebaute CD-Player nicht richtig funktioniert, wird eine Fehlermeldung im Display angezeigt (wie z.B. �ERROR-14�). Siehe �Fehlermeldungen des eingebauten CD-Players� auf Seite 71. � In den CD-Ladeschacht darf kein anderer Gegenstand als eine CD eingesetzt werden.

Drücken Sie die Taste EJECT und halten Sie sie kurz gedrückt; die Frontplatte öffnet sich dann, ohne da� eine CD ausgeworfen wird. Falls die Frontplatte geöffnet ist, kann sie geschlossen werden. Hinweis:
� Bei geöffneter Frontplatte sind die Tasten 1 bis 6 nicht wirksam.
WARNUNG:
� Nicht mit geöffneter Frontplatte benutzen. Falls die Frontplatte geöffnet belassen wird, besteht im Falle eines Unfalls Verletzungsgefahr.
