When connecting to the VM-7100/7200
The DIF-AT24 will not operate correctly if the VM-7100/7200 system version is earlier than 1.7. Use the following procedure to check the system version, and be sure to update to system version 1.7 or later. For details on updating, please contact the nearest Roland office or service center.

Connect the VM-7100/7200 to the VM-C7100/C7200. Turn on the power to start up the system. Hold down [On Display] and press numeric key [0].
The version display screen will appear, with an indication like the following: �Unit X Version: 1.XXX�

Note the version number shown in �1.XXX�
