I was searching a way to modify the original phono-in entry (for connection of vynil disc player, with RIAA equalization) to a line-in entry (for connection of modern analog entries, eg. ipod, mp3player).
This service manual gave me the correct hints.
It contains very useful infos for repairing and modifing the hi-fi, such as disassembling instructions, block diagrams, schematic diagrams, PCB prints, replacement parts list.

[THE SIZE OF REPLACEMENT PART] The Service Manual does not contain the following information, because of the impossibility of servicing at component level without concerned equipment/facilities for WATER PRESSURE. (Water resistant depth: 40 m/130 feet) * Parts list for individual parts for Marine Case (Body) unit. (Excluding no water pressure test is required.) [DEFINITION OF THE PARTS, NECESSITY OF WATER PROOF TEST] The Parts marked with [WATER PROOF TEST IS REQUIRED] in the remarks column are necessary to achieve the WATER PROOF TEST when it is replaced. WATER PROOF TEST / INSPECTION PROCEDURE: 1. Fill the water tank with water. 2. Set the O-ring and close the buckle of the Marine case. *Even one stand of hair or one grain of sand is able to cause water leakage. 3. Insert the Marine case into the water tank, gently. 4. Wipe up the bubbles which may be putting on the surface of Marine case. 5. Press the button and rotate the Mode dial. 6. Keep inserting the Marine case more than 3 minuets. 7. Confirm that no water leaks into the Marine case.
