I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. Setting the Monitor and / or Ringer Volume
You can adjust the monitor and ringer volume on your machine. The built-in speaker enables you to hear the dial tone, dialing signals, and busy tone. The ringer sounds when your machine receives a call.
