Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Selecting the Original Size
(Original Size)
When making copies of name cards, receipts, etc., the use of Original Size will allow the blank parts of these to be neatly copied. If you have to make copies of non standard size documents frequently, it will be useful to customize these sizes as defaults and save their settings beforehand. In this way, you do not have to select them each time when you make copies. See Original Size Defaults in 6-1: List of Custom Preset Functions for details.
The Original Size feature allows you to specify the document size to copy if you wish to copy a non standard size document or part of the document. Also, you have to specify the size of the document to copy in the case of highly permeable media like transparencies as their document sizes cannot be easily detected by the machine. The ruler markings around the document glass is useful for measuring the size of the document.

The document area to be copied differs as follows when the document is loaded onto the DADF or the document glass.
