Complete MFG Service Manual at a good price FAST !
 ;
Downloaded the manual, reasonably straightforward, pretty much exactly as advertised.
 ;
very helpfull
circuit diagram and sparepart list available
 ;
Very good reproduction (copy) of original manual. Didn't have a parts list, but schematic was completely labeled with parts. Complete instructions on how to adjust mechanical functions of the 8-track deck. Well worth having and at a very reasonable cost.
 ;
It's a full manual. All the parts are in there. I haven't found the problem yett, but I am working on it; hope I can rebuild the part myself. To make it more secure and unbreakable this time. Because the part has failed several times before and costs a lot to let it be repaired.
Thanks so much for this rich illustrated and parted manual.
Convergence and Geometry adjustments
All of the displays are generated by the OTC, located on the SSB, except the GDE SAM Menu, which is generated by the Microprocessor located on the ACS Module. All of the settings except the GDE are stored in the NVM located on the SSB. The Geometry, White Tone, and Convergence settings are stored on the NVM located on the ACS Module. The GDE stores the settings for Geometry and White Tone. There is one setting stored for all modes in the GDE NVM. There are eight different alignment modes for Geometry and Convergence, which are stored in the GDE NVM. A chart of the Alignment modes is shown below. Mode 480p (NTSC Progressive) 1080i Line Frequency 31500 33750 Frame Frequency 60Hz 60Hz
It is important when adjusting Geometry or Convergence that the correct signal for that mode be applied to the set. Any time the Geometry is adjusted, the Convergence should also be adjusted. Failure to do so will result in an out of Convergence set when the customer uses the Intellisense feature.
Geometry Alignment
Completely read the Setup section before proceeding with any adjustment. The set should be allowed to warm up for at least 20 minutes before any adjustments are made. If the ACS module has been replaced, the following adjustments will be required in the order as shown: Geometry Convergence Grey Scale (White Tone) If the Large Signal Board (LSB) has been changed the following adjustment are required: Geometry Convergence If the CRTs have been changed: Geometry Convergence Grey Scale (White Tone) If the SSM (Small Signal Module has been changed: Convergence
