Thanks to Owner-Manuals.com! This manual was exactly what I needed. As Amana was purchased by Maytag and later by Whirlpool, there was no way to receive it from their websites. I was lucky to find this resource.

Setting the volume level
1 Use the » « buttons on the satellite receiver or on the remote control to set the desired volume level. � A volume scale is displayed on the picture screen. � Set the volume to a level giving the best acoustic result. 2 Press the » OK « button if you wish to remove the volume scale.
Setting the sound to mute
1 This is only possible with GRUNDIG TV sets. To switch the sound off and on
again, repeatedly press the »d« button on the remote control. � While the sound is set to mute, the » « symbol is displayed on the picture screen.
