Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Le DV-505 ne quitte l'usine qu'après un ajustement précis et un contrôle méticuleux. Toutefois, des incidents lors du transport peuvent altérer son état. Pour utiliser le DV-505 de manière optimale, il est recommandé de vérifier les points suivants : mobilité horizontale du bras . Prenez le bras principal et faites-le pivoter doucement. Si l'amortisseur (Damper plate) est exempt de défauts, le bras principal doit pivoter sans frottement sur les aimants ni à -coups. Dans le cas contraire, il suffit de redresser à la main cet amortisseur jusqu'à ce qu'il ait retrouvé son horizontalité et que le bras puisse se déplacer sans friction.
fonctionnement de l'amortisseur dynamique Vérifiez le contre poids d'inertie (Damper weight) situé à l'intérieur du bras principal et accessible par dessous. Cet amortisseur est constitué d'une masse fixée sur une lamelle ressort souple (Springboard). Normalement, le contre poids est en faible oscillation dès lors que le bras est en mouvement. Il ne doit pas entrer en contact avec les parois du bras, ni avec les gaines du câblage. Dans le cas contraire, détachez-le de son ressort et exercez une légère traction sur ce dernier pour le redresser.
