I found this manual to be complete in every detail. Besides the schematic it has a complete set of alignment instructions which are easy to understand. It also includes a complete parts list as well as an explanation of how the power supply and safety shutdown circuits operate. Even a schematic of the tuner is included.

1-6. Use of Extension Board
When checking or adjusting the plug-in boards (APR-25, ENC-40, SY-240, VPR-33), use the extension board EX-504. . Extension board, EX-504 : A-8312-806-A 1. Turn the power off. 2. Unplug the appliance from the outlet. 3. Pull out the board required adjustment. (Refer to the Section 1-5-1.) 4. Insert the extension board along the board guide rails. 5. Open the both rails of the extension board. 6. Insert the board required adjustment along the rails of the extension board. Then perform the adjustment.

7. After adjustment is completed, pull out the adjusted board toward you. 8. Pull out the extension board. 9. Insert the adjusted board in its original slot. (Refer to the Section 1-5-1.)
