Firmware Upgrading
1 Burning of �rmware
1. Start the CD burning software and create a new CD Project (Data disc) with the following settings: a. File System: No Speci�c Requirement b. Format: MODE 2/XA c. Recording format: Single Session (Track at once), Finalized CD 2. Place the �le UPDATE VER and build.img into the root directory of the new CD project. 3. Burn the data onto a blank CDR or CDRW.

Firmware Upgrading
Burning of Firmware � After burned the �les to a CD-R or CD-RW,open the DVD tray and load the disc. � The DVD will read the disc and Display �Firmware Upgrade� with 2 options �Start� and �Cancel�. � Using the OK button on the remote control ,click on �Start� � The OSD will show �Firmware Upgrade� �Erase and Program� �Do not Power Off�. � Observe the DVD display �CD UPDT� and the DVD Tray door will open in less than 1 minutes, � The DVD tray closes and put the DVD player on standby.* *Note: At this time,key pressed on the remote control will have no effect on the set.

How to read the present �rmware version
� � � Open the DVD tray Press Display on Remote control. It will show �Cheetah170VX.XX DVD622/YYMKII I64R R1� where X is the Version number of the DVD Firmware and Y is the Stroke version of the DVD Player.
