Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Dit menu betreft analoge audio-instellingen , zoals DOWNMIX, D.R.C. (Dynamic Range Compression) etc., voor de weergave van Surround Sound van hoge kwaliteit.

Druk op SYSTEM MENU. Druk op 34 om INST. ANALOGE UITGANG te selecteren. Druk ter bevestiging op OK.

DOWNMIX
De dvd-speler kan het dynamische bereik van de audio-uitvoer comprimeren, zodat u bijv. naar een actiefilm kunt kijken zonder anderen te storen. Druk op 34om D.R.C. te selecteren. Druk op 2 om naar het submenu te gaan. Markeer een optie door op 34 te drukken. § AAN: D.R.C. is actief § UIT: D.R.C. is niet actief Druk op OK. Druk op 1 om terug te gaan naar het menu Instellingen Analoge Uitgang.

Druk op 34 om DOWNMIX te selecteren. Druk op 2 om naar het submenu te gaan. Markeer een optie door op 34 te drukken. 0 LINKS/RECHTS § Kies deze optie alleen als de dvd-speler is aangesloten op een Dolby Prologic-decoder. 0 STEREO § Deze optie zet het �Dolby Digital�-signaal rechtstreeks via de L/R-aansluitingen om in een analoog stereosignaal. 4 Druk op OK. 5 Druk op 1 om terug te keren naar het menu Instellingen Analoge Uitgang. In dit menu kunt u de digitale audio-uitvoer vanuit digitale terminals instellen, zoals coaxiaal etc.
