Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

Ajustes NTSC/PAL
Puede conmutar el ajuste NTSC/PAL del reproductor para que coincida con la señal de vÃdeo del televisor. Este ajuste sólo afecta a la ventana del televisor en la que se visualizan los modos de parada y configuración. Puede seleccionar NTSC o PAL procediendo como se indica a continuación.

Acerca de este manual
Este manual ofrece instrucciones básicas para el funcionamiento del reproductor DVD. Algunos discos DVD requieren un uso especÃfico o permiten un uso limitado durante la reproducción, en cuyo caso la unidad quizá no responda a todas las órdenes. En la pantalla del televisor aparecerá el sÃmbolo Ã�, indicando que el reproductor no permite la operación.
1 Desconecte el reproductor DVD de la red. 2 Mantenga pulsados los botones 9 y T del frontal del 3
reproductor y, al mismo tiempo, conecte el cable de alimentación. Cuando aparezca PAL o NTSC en la pantalla del reproductor, libere los botones 9 y T simultáneamente. La indicación PAL o NTSC que aparece en el panel corresponde al ajuste actual. ajuste (PAL o NTSC) se visualizará en la pantalla del panel.
Mando a distancia
¶ Salvo indicación en contrario, todas las operaciones pueden realizarse desde el mando a distancia. Apunte siempre con el mando directamente al reproductor, asegurándose de que no haya obstáculos en la trayectoria del haz infrarrojo. También pueden usarse los botones correspondientes del panel frontal de la unidad.

Conversión NTSC/PAL
El reproductor incorpora una función que convierte la salida de vÃdeo del disco para adaptarla al sistema del televisor. El procedimiento es el siguiente:

Barra de menú
¶ Algunas operaciones pueden realizarse a través de la barra de menú de la pantalla del televisor. La barra de menú se activa pulsando las teclas de cursor del mando a distancia. Pulse SYSTEM MENU para desactivar la barra de menú. La opción seleccionada quedará resaltada, y debajo del icono aparecerán las teclas de cursor que controlan la función. La indicación < o > advierte de la existencia de más opciones a un lado u otro de la barra de menú. Pulse 1 or 2 para seleccionar estas opciones.

Observaciones: â�� El modo AUTO sólo se puede seleccionar si el televisor es multisistema. â�� Ã�nicamente es aplicable a la salida CVBS con conectores CINCH y SCART. â�� Esta conversión podrÃa producir ligeras distorsiones de imagen, pero no se trata de ninguna anomalÃa. El formato AUTO es el más apropiado para optimizar la calidad de imagen.
