I PURHASED THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE I WAS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY CDR20 HARMAN KARDON RECORDER. WHICH I PURCHASED NEW 12 YEARS AGO. AFTER REVIEWING THE MANUAL, I WAS ABLE TO ADJUST THE TENSIONER IN THE SYSTEM. WORKS LIKE A CHAMP!.
SAVED ME AT LEAST 100.00 WHICH WAS WHAT A SERVICE REPAIR STATION WANTED. GREAT MANUAL EASY TO READ. SPECIALLY AFTER I PRINTED THE PAGES WHICH DEALT WITH MY RECORDER. THANKS A LOT!!!!!!!!

I have never bought a service manual which is as competely readable as this althogh it was a scanned pdf. Thank you for this succesful manual also cheaper than other sites.

When change the channel broadcast signal is not received. YES Is the external ANT. connected to RF IN of VCR and RF OUT of TV? YES

Change and check the connection of CABLE
Is the Power of VCR ON and the VCR indicator lit on the digitron? YES
NO
Power On and select the VCR mode by pressing the TV/VCR key.
Does the TV channel correspond to VCR (3 or 4) channel? YES
NO
Set the TV channel to VCR (3 or 4) channel.
Is the output of pin , of IC601 100 98 normal? YES
NO
Check IC601
Check the Video, Audio outputsignal of pin 14 , 18 of TMI BLOCK. NO
YES
Is the signal applied to pin 14 of IC151? YES
NO
Check the IC601 4 4 pin.
Check the TMI BLOCK.
Check the Video circuit.
