I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.

! You can also switch the subtitle language during playback with SUBTITLE (S.TITILE). (Refer to Changing the subtitle language during playback (Multi-subtitle) on page 24.) ! 4 Click the joystick. The audio language is set.
Notes ! If the selected language is not recorded on the disc, the language specified on the disc is outputted. ! You can also switch the audio language during playback with AUDIO. (Refer to Changing audio language during playback (Multi-audio) on page 23.) ! Even if you use AUDIO to switch the audio language, this does not affect the settings here. ! When you select GENERAL
When you select GENERAL, a language code input display is shown. Refer to Language code chart for DVD on page 94, use the number buttons to input the four digit code of the desired language, and then click the joystick.
Note Pressing CLEAR cancels the input numbers.

You can set the preferred audio language. 1 Move the joystick up or down to select AUDIO LANG. in the SET-UP MENU (LANG.). AUDIO LANG. is highlighted. 2 3 Click the joystick. Move the joystick up or down to select An audio language menu is displayed. the desired audio language. The currently set language is indicated with the blue box. The language selected with the joystick is highlighted.
