Karaoke Operations
Playing Karaoke discs
IMPORTANT! You have to turn on your TV and set to the correct Video In channel. See �Getting Started - Step 2: Finding your viewing channel � for details. General Operation
MIC LEVEL
Vocal You can fade out the original vocal from a karaoke disc. Press VOCAL repeatedly to choose different audio modes. Helpful Hint: � This function and on-screen display depends on the availability of the disc. Karaoke
A Press KARAOKE repeatedly to access

the karaoke menu.
B Press
to select �Karaoke�, �Key Shift�, �Echo�, �Voice Cancel�. When �Karaoke� is selected, press OK to set karaoke �On� or �Off�. When �Key Shift� is selected, press to adjust the pitch value between 0 and 14. This function allows you to adjust the key tone level to match your vocal.
A Connect a microphone (not supplied) to
MIC on the front panel of the DVD player.
B Press KARAOKE repeatedly to access
Karaoke menu. �Karaoke : Off� appears on the TV. Press OK to turn �On� or �Off� the karaoke mode.
When �Echo� is selected, press adjust the echo level.

C Load a karaoke disc and press PLAY/
PAUSE u.
When �Voice Cancel� is selected, press OK to set voice cancel �On� or �Off�.
D Adjust the microphone volume up or
down using MIC LEVEL button on the side of the panel of the DVD player. Helpful Hint: � Before connecting the microphone, set the microphone volume to the minimum level to prevent howling.
