Very pleased with manual except that a few more details in the drawings might make the job (not yet done, tut-tut) easier. Should be adequate though. Actually I didn't have to pay for this anyway as I was given credit for another item that wasn't quite complete. Good service, then.

Hi - happy with what I received but not quite what I wanted - my fault I assumed that service manual would also include operational instructions which is what I needed - all I needed to know was how to turn the radio - thanks
Connecting to an amplifier equipped with a DTS decoder
Digital Theater System(DTS) DTS is high quality surround technology used in theaters and now available for home use, on DVD video discs or audio CDs. If you have a DTS decoder or processor, you can obtain the full benefit of 5.1 channel DTS encoded sound tracks on DVD video discs or audio CDs.
You must set the LINE SELECT switch to the "Out" mode Right side of unit

NOTE: When you are connecting (via the OPTICAL OUT) an AV decoder that does not have the Dolby Digital, Digital Theater System (DTS) or MPEG2 decoding, be sure to set Digital Audio Output of this DVD player to �PCM� from the SETUP menu. Otherwise, high volume sound may damage your hearing as well as the speakers.
