This is a awesome quality scan of the original Service Manual for Technics 8099.
Contains the circuit diagram, PCB layout, adjust/tune instructions as well.

Very nice and real Service Manual, I didn't thought it actually exist in the real world at all.
FLOW CHART NO.13 PON 1.8V is not outputted. Is 2.5V voltage supplied at pin(1) of IC1002? Yes Is the "H" pulse inputted into pin(4) of IC1002? Yes Replace IC1002. No No Check D1013, C1014 and the periphery circuit. Check PWRCON line.
FLOW CHART NO.14 The disc tray cannot be opened and closed. (It can be done using the remote control unit.) Is 0V voltage supplied to Pin(9) of IC2001 when the OPEN/CLOSE button is activated on the DVD? No Check the SW2014 and OPEN/CLOSE button.
