This manual is complete and very readable.It was a great help for my two ICF5800L.The first one had the dial cord broken,and without the service manual it is impossible to replace it.Thank.Olivier.

This is a top quality manual. You couldn't get better if you had the original and scanned it yourself. Best price on the net as well. Diagrams are clear and complete, text is sharp and easy to read. Granted you don't get the manual the second you click pay, but the few hours you have to wait for it to be available for download isn't a problem at all. This is a very reliable company.

(5) Précautions à prendre lors de la soudure avec plomb
Il est conseillé d�utiliser de la soudure sans plomb pour les réparations, mais il est possible d�utiliser de la soudure avec plomb. Dans ce cas, il est nécessaire de prendre les précautions suivantes: 1) Avant d�utiliser la soudure avec plomb, enlever complètement la soudure sans plomb du point qui doit être soudé. 2) Pour l�ajout de soudure, régler la température de la pointe du fer à souder pour la soudure sans plomb et bien mélanger la soudure sans plomb et la soudure avec plomb. Ne pas essayer de réparer avec la pointe du fer à souder sans ajouter de soudure, car la résistance de la soudure ne sera pas suffisante.
