Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Elektrischer Anschluss/ Zuleitung
Der Elektroanschluss muss von einem konzessionierten Installateur ausgeführt werden. Als Netzanschlussleitung muss eine Leitung vom Typ H05VV�F oder höherwertig verwendet werden. Die Installation muss über eine Zuleitung mit Stecker erfolgen oder es ist in der festverlegten Hausinstallation eine Trennvorrichtung mit mindestens 3 mm Kontaktöffnung vorzusehen, die das Gerät gleichzeitig und allpolig vom Netz trennt, entsprechend der NIN 2000. Der Anschluss mittels einer Steckdose ist bauseitig so vorzusehen, dass die Steckdose ausserhalb des Koordinationsraumes liegt. Beim Direktanschluss Drahtlänge ca. 120 cm vorsehen. 1. Das Anschlusskabel flach auf den Nischenboden verlegen. 2. Das Gerät an den seitlichen Traggriffen anheben und zu ¾ in die Nische schieben. 3. Anschluss�Klemmenkasten von unten entfernen. 4. Anschluss�Klemmenkasten öffnen (Detail D). 5. Schnappverschluss der Zugentlastung öffnen (Detail E). 6. Klemmenanschluss gemäss Anschlussschema. 7. Zugentlastung durch Festdrücken des Schnappverschlusses sicherstellen (Detail F). 8. Anschluss�Klemmenkasten schliessen. 9. Anschluss�Klemmenkasten von unten anschrauben. Im Servicefall muss das Gerät vom Netz getrennt werden! Phasenbezeichnungen: L1, L2, (entspricht R, S,)
