This was a very hard to find manual. The unit is long discontinued and Pioneer doesn't retain every manual for every model. Thanks owner's-manual.com!

Insert the �Memory Stick,� and close the cover.
Making sure that the w mark faces downward, insert the �Memory Stick� into the �Memory Stick� insertion slot until it clicks into place.
Label side If the cover came off, attach it in the direction shown.

Removing the �Memory Stick�
Before removing the �Memory Stick� from AIBO, press the pause button to make AIBO pause, then check that the battery pack lock indicator appears white. Open the cover, push the �Memory Stick� lightly to make it pop out, and then remove it.
