Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Error Codes, Messages, and Solutions
This table lists the error messages that appear in the FAX-L250 LCD displayand the corresponding error codes that appear in activity reports, and tellswhat to do for each. Message AUTO REDIAL Error Code � Cause The receiving fax machine was busy and the FAX-L250 is waiting to redial. The telephone number you dialled is busy. The other party�s fax machine is not working properly. The other party is not using a G3 fax machine. The telephone line type setting on your FAX-L250 is incorrect. The receiving fax machine did not answer within 35 seconds. Action �

Try sending the document again later. Contact the other party and have them check their fax machine. Contact the other party and have them send or receive the document using a G3 machine. Set your FAX-L250 for your telephone line (tone or pulse). Contact the other party and have them check their fax machine. You can also try to send the document manually. For an overseas call, add pauses to the registered number. If you want to cancel the transmission, press the ( STOP) button. Make a copy of a document. If the printout is light or blank, replace the toner cartridge. The documents received in memory will then be printed automatically. Replace the toner cartridge and have the other party send the fax again.
