I was so happy that the owner's manual was available. It is well written and helped me to use the radio/CD player/recorder without problems. Thanks for making it available.

Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.
USE
Starting-up and temperature regulation
Insert the plug into the wall socket. Open the refrigerator door and turn the thermostat knob, to be found on the top right hand side of the inner liner, clockwise beyond the «O» position, to start the appliance. Temperature adjustment is obtained by turning the thermostat knob to the required setting. A medium setting is generally the most suitable. However, the thermostat knob setting should be adjusted depending on the temperature required inside the appliance. This, in turn, depends on a number of factors such as the ambient temperature, the number of times the door is opened, the quantity of food stored and the location of the appliance. Turn the knob clockwise, to higher numbers, to obtain a lower temperature, or anticlockwise if a higher temperature is required. Freezing is completed after 24 hours from the start. On the inner door of the compartment you will nd a list of foods followed by a number. These numbers indicate the maximum period of time for which the food in question may be stored (in months). Important Do not put carbonated liquids (zzy drinks, etc.) in the freezer compartment as they may burst. Remember that, once thawed, frozen food deteriorates rapidly. Warning After having closed the freezer door, wait 1 or 2 minutes before trying to open it again. The vacuum created inside the freezer makes it difcult to re-open immediately.
Freezing fresh food
The 4-star compartment ( ) is suitable for long term storage of commercially frozen food and for freezing fresh food. The maximum amount of food which is freezable in 24 hours is indicated on the rating plate. You should never freeze all at once a greater quantity of fresh foods than the maximum indicated on the appliances rating plate. Under normal circumstances, to freeze fresh foods it is not necessary to change the setting of the thermostat knob with respect to the normal running position. However, for a faster freezing operation, turn the thermostat knob to the coldest setting; but remember that, in this condition, the refrigerator compartment temperature might drop below 0°C. If this occurs reset the thermostat knob to a warmer setting. To help you make the most of the freezing process, here are some important hints: Only freeze top quality, fresh and thoroughly cleaned, foodstuffs. Prepare the fresh food in small portions to enable it to be rapidly and completely frozen and to make it possible subsequently to thaw only the quantity required at the time. Wrap up the food in aluminium foil or polythene and make sure that the packages are airtight. The food to be frozen must be placed on the freezer compartment shelf; in this way, the higher temperature of the food to be frozen cannot increase the temperature of frozen foods. Never load a larger quantity of foods than that recommended. During freezing, never add other food to be frozen and do not open the door too often.
Storage of frozen food
Hints for the storage of commercially frozen food: Do not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than is absolutely necessary. If there is a power failure when food is in the freezer, do not open the door of the freezer compartment. Frozen food will not be affected if the power cut is of short duration, otherwise it is recommended that the food be used within a very short time. The interval between the time you buy frozen foods and when you put them in the freezer should be as short as possible. The expiry dates on the packages should never be exceeded.
Thawing
Deep-frozen or frozen food, prior to being used, can be thawed in the refrigerator compartment or at room temperature, depending on the time available for this operation. Small pieces may even be cooked still frozen, directly from the freezer: in this case, cooking will take longer.
