Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

Aufbewahrung 1 Sie können das Saugrohr am aufrecht stehenden Gerät unterbringen, indem Sie die Leiste an der Düse in den Schlitz an der Unterseite des Gerätegehäuses einführen (Abb. 22). Ersatzteile Der Staubbeutel 1 Wechseln Sie den Staubbeutel aus, sobald die Anzeige "Staubbeutel voll" ihre Farbe gewechselt hat (Abb. 23). Der Staubbeutel ist voll, wenn sich die Farbe der Anzeige dauerhaft verändert hat, auch wenn die Düse nicht auf dem Fu�boden aufliegt. 2 Schalten Sie das Gerät aus. 3 �ffnen Sie den Gerätedeckel, indem Sie ihn hochziehen (Abb. 24). Greifen Sie unter die Vorderkante des Deckels und drücken Sie zum �ffnen mit dem Daumen darauf. 4 Nehmen Sie den Staubbeutelhalter mit dem Staubbeutel aus dem Gerät (Abb. 25). Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie den Staubbeutel am Staubbeutelhalter senkrecht aus dem Gerät ziehen. 5 Ziehen Sie den vollen Staubbeutel an der Pappscheibe heraus (Abb. 26). Dabei wird der Staubbeutel automatisch verschlossen. 6 Schieben Sie die Pappscheibe des neuen Staubbeutels bis zum Anschlag in die beiden Führungsrillen des Staubbeutelhalters. Setzen Sie dann den Staubbeutelhalter mit dem neuen Staubbeutel wieder in das Gerät (Abb. 27). Wenn sich der Gerätedeckel nicht verschlie�en lässt, ist kein Staubbeutel eingesetzt. Reinigung und Instandhaltung der Filter Den Motorschutz-Filter auswechseln Reinigen Sie den Motorschutz-Filter jedes Mal, wenn Sie einen Staubbeutel leeren und ggfs. wechseln. 1 Nehmen Sie den Staubbeutelhalter mit dem Staubbeutel aus dem Gerät (Abb. 25). 2 Nehmen Sie den Motorschutz-Filter aus dem Gerät, und schütteln Sie ihn über einem Mülleimer aus (Abb. 28). 3 Drücken Sie den Filterhalter mit dem gereinigten Filter wieder fest an seinen Platz, damit er am unteren Ende dicht aufsitzt (Abb. 29). 4 Setzen Sie den Staubbeutelhalter mit dem Staubbeutel zurück in das Gerät. (Nur spezielle Gerätetypen:) Aktivkohle-Filter Einige Geräte sind statt des Motorschutz-Filters mit einem Aktivkohle-Filter ausgerüstet. Dieser Filter neutralisiert Gerüche, die durch Verschmutzungen im Staubbeutel verursacht werden. 1 Tauschen Sie den Aktivkohle-Filter alle sechs Monate gegen einen neuen aus, oder sobald die Geruchsabsorption nachlässt. 2 Den Aktivkohle-Filter ersetzen Sie so wie für den Motoschutz-Filter beschrieben. Statt den Filter zu reinigen, setzen Sie jedoch einen neuen Aktivkohle-Filter ein.
