Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

SYMPTOM
Die Fernbedienung arbeitet nicht.
ABHILFE (keine Fehlfunktion)
� Sind die Batterien leer? � Sind die Batterien richtig eingelegt? � Flimmert das Fluoreszenzlicht, weil die Lebensdauer abgelaufen ist? � Reinigen oder wechseln Sie die Filter, falls sie stark verschmutzt erscheinen. (Siehe D-12,D-13) � Die Luft könnte zum Zeitpunkt des Anschlie�ens der Einheit verschmutzt sein. (Siehe D-9) � Die Empfindlichkeit der Sensoren wird unbeständig, wenn der Geruchs- oder Staubsensor verschmutzt oder blockiert ist. Entfernen Sie Staub an der Sensoröffnung mit einem Staubsauger (Siehe D-11). � Im Raumluftreinigungsmodus (oder Ionenauffrischungsmodus) ändert sich die Farbe der Plasmacluster-Anzeigeleuchte nicht. � Das Klickgeräusch ist hörbar, wenn das Gerät im Auffrischmodus arbeitet, und das Tickgeräusch ist hörbar, wenn das Gerät Ionen erzeugt. Stellen Sie die Einheit weiter von sich entfernt auf, falls das Geräusch störend ist. � Prüfen Sie die Filter auf starke Verschmutzung. Tauschen Sie die Filter aus. � Plasmacluster-Luftreiniger geben geringe Spuren von Ozon ab. Die Dichte des erzeugten Ozons ist sehr gering. Sie liegt unter den Sicherheitswerten nach IEC 60335-2-65 und ist für Menschen ungefährlich. � Ist das Gerät an einem Ort aufgestellt, an dem der Sensor Zigarettenrauch nur schwer feststellen kann? � Sind die Staub- oder Geruchssensoröffnungen blockiert oder verstopft? (Säubern Sie in diesem Fall die �ffnungen.) (Siehe D-11) � Schlie�en Sie das Netzstromkabel nach dem Austausch der Filter an der Steckdose an und drücken Sie die Taste Filter-Reset an der Fernbedienung. (Siehe D-12) � Prüfen Sie, ob der Modus Anzeige AUS mit der Fernbedienung gewählt wurde. Drücken Sie in diesem Fall die Taste Anzeige EIN/AUS der Fernbedienung, um die Anzeigeleuchte einzuschalten. (Siehe D-10)
Gerüche und Rauch werden nicht beseitigt. Die REINHEITSGRADANZEIGE leuchtet trotz verschmutzter Luft grün auf. Die REINHEITSGRADANZEIGE leuchtet trotz reiner Luft orange oder rot auf.
Die PlasmaclusterAnzeigeleuchte bleibt unverändert grün (oder blau). In der Einheit ist ein Klickoder Tickgeräusch hörbar.
Der ausgegebenen Luft haftet ein Geruch an.
Das Gerät arbeitet nicht, obwohl Zigaretten geraucht werden. Die Filteranzeige leuchtet auch nach dem Filterwechsel weiter auf. Die Plasmacluster-Anzeige- oder REINHEITSGRADLEUCHTE leuchtet nicht auf.
FEHLERANZEIGE
ANZEIGELEUCHTE
Die Gebläseleistungsanzeige "Ruhig" blinkt.
ABHILFE
Der Gebläsemotor ist abgeschaltet oder gestört. Der Betrieb stoppt. � Nach dem Drücken der EIN/AUS-Taste wird die Fehleranzeige gelöscht. Falls der Fehler jedoch erneut auftritt, sollten Sie sich an den Händler wenden, bei dem Sie das Gerät gekauft haben.
