Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

Wahl von automatischem Replay oder einmaliger Wiedergabe � Taste AUTO REPLAY (oder A.REPLAY) mehrmals drücken, um die verschiedenen Wiedergabe-Betriebsarten zu wählen. � "AUTO REPLAY" ( ) oder "ONCE" ( ) erscheint im Display. AUTO REPLAY �Das Band wird am Ende der Wiedergabe zurückgespult und wieder abgespielt. Die Wiedergabe wird maximal 20 Mal wiederholt. ONCE ................. Die gewählte Kassettenseite wird einmal wiedergegeben und die Wiedergabe stoppt. � Um ein versehentliches �berspielen von Aufnahmen zu vermeiden, können Sie die Lasche in der linken Ecke der cassettenseite, die Sie schützen möchten, herausbrechen. � Wenn die Meldung �CHECK TAPE � angezeigt wird, wurde die �berspielschutzlasche herausgebrochen. In diesem Fall die �ffnung mit einem Stück Klebeband zukleben.

Die Wiedergabe stoppen und Taste à oder á drücken. � Das Band wird beim Erreichen des Bandendes oder -anfangs automatisch angehalten. Taste � drücken, um den schnellen Vor- oder Rücklauf zu stoppen. Hinweis: � Während des schnellen Vor- oder Rücklaufs einer cassette kann auch eine andere Signalquelle gewählt werden (CD oder TUNER, zum Beispiel). WICHTIG! � �berspielungen sind nur erlaubt, wenn das Urheberrecht oder andere Rechte Dritter nicht verletzt werden. � Aufnahmen sind nur in Laufwerk 2 möglich.

Vorbereitung zur aufnahme 1 2 3
Taste TAPE drücken, um Laufwerk TAPE 2 zu wählen. Eine bespielbare cassette mit der vollen Bandspule links in Laufwerk 2 einlegen. Die zu überspielende Signalquelle vorbereiten. CD � die CD(s) einlegen. TUNER � den gewünschten Radiosender einstellen. TAPE � die vorbespielte cassette mit der vollen Spule links in Laufwerk 1 einlegen. AUX � ein externes Gerät anschlie�en. USB � Anschlie�en eines USBMassenspeichergeräts. Wenn die Aufnahme läuft � REC beginnt zu blinken. � Die Wiedergabe anderer Signalquellen ist nicht möglich, au�er bei der �berspielung von cassetten. � Es ist nicht möglich, die Timer-Funktion bei Aufnahmen oder �berspielung von cassetten zu aktivieren.
Allgemeine informationen zur aufnahme
� Für Aufnahmen nur cassetten vom Typ IEC I (normales Eisenoxidband ). � Der Aufnahmepegel wird automatisch, d.h. unabhängig von der Einstellung der Bedienelemente Volume, DBB, DSC usw. , eingestellt. � Das Band der cassette ist an beiden Enden mit einem Vorspannband versehen. Am Anfang und Ende der cassette ist sechs bis sieben Sekunden lang keine Aufnahme möglich.
