Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

¡IMPORTANTE! � Antes de reproducir una cinta, compruébela y ténsela con un lápiz si es necesario. La cinta floja puede engancharse o desenrollarse en el mecanismo. � Almacene la cinta a temperatura ambiente y no la coloque demasiado cerca de un campo magnético (por ejemplo, un transformador, televisor o altavoz). Pulse y mantenga apretado 4 o ¢ (o 1 / ¡ en el control remoto). Pulse � cuando se alcance el pasaje deseado.
Información general sobre la grabación
â�� Para grabación, utilice solamente cinta IEC tipo I (cinta normal). â�� El nivel de la grabación se ajusta automáticamente, sea cual sea la posición, por ejemplo VOLUME, VAC o DSC. â�� La cinta está sujeta a ambos extremos con cinta de guÃa. Al principio y al final de la cinta no se graba nada durante seis o siete segundos. â�� Para evitar grabación accidental, rompa la lengüeta situada en la parte superior izquierda del lado de la cinta que quiere proteger.

Pulse 3 para abrir la puerta de la platina. Coloque una cinta grabada y cierre la puerta de la cinta. y el carrete lleno a la izquierda.S

Pulse TAPE (TAPE 1/2) de nuevo para seleccionar la platina 1 o la platina 2. � Aparece el número de la platina seleccionada. Pulse 38 para iniciar la reproducción.
Para parar la reproducción � Pulse �. Para cambiar el modo de reproducción � Pulse AUTO REPLAY repetidamente para seleccionar los diferentes modos de reproducción. AUTO REPLAY �la cinta se rebobinará automáticamente al llegar al final de la cara, y se reproducirá de nuevo hasta un máximo de veinte veces o hasta que se pulse el botón �. ONCE .............. se reproducirá una vez la cara seleccionada y después se detendrá la cinta.
� Si aparece �CHECK TAPE� (comprobar cinta), significa que la lengüeta de protección ha sido rota. Coloque un trozo de cinta adhesiva transparente sobre la apertura producida al romper la lengüeta.
