Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Dolby Pro Logic
Cette minichaîne Dolby Pro Logic à la pointe de la technique vous permet d�apprécier l�ambiance sonore �Home Cinéma�. Le système Pro Logic offre une définition plus précise des sources sonores individuelles. Il donne une meilleure séparation sonore entre les canaux ainsi qu�une localisation très précise des sons. Le système Pro Logic fournit quatre canaux, à savoir gauche, centre, droite et Surround (arrière). Les signaux avant sont reproduits à partir des haut-parleurs gauche et droite ainsi que du haut-parleur central. Le signal Surround est reproduit par deux hautparleurs placés à l�arrière de la zone d�écoute. Bien que le signal Surround soit reproduit en mono, une paire de hautparleurs est nécessaire pour reproduire le champ sonore diffus correct. Ce décodeur Pro Logic vous permet de décoder les modes suivants: Dolby Surround, Center Phantom, Dolby 3 Stéréo ou Stéréo normal.

Haut-parleurs avant gauche et droite Pour créer des conditions d�écoute optimale, il est conseillé de disposer les haut-parleurs gauche et droite de façon qu�ils constituent un angle d�environ 45 degrés par rapport à la position d�écoute. Les haut-parleurs sont dotés de blindage magnétique. Si le champ magnétique issu des haut-parleurs perturbe l�image de l�écran de télévision, vous devez augmenter la distance de séparation.
Pour effectuer ce réglage, vous devez vous installer dans la position d�écoute idéale et vous servir de la télécommande.
1 Appuyez sur CD, TUNER, TAPE ou AUX pour mettre l�appareil sous tension. 2 Appuyez sur TEST TONE. � Un signal test est généré et se déplace tour à tour sur les hautparleurs gauche, central, droite et Surround. � Le message "TEST TONE" suivi de "ADAPT BALANCE, CENTER AND REAR LEVEL" apparaît sur l�afficheur. � Le signal test dure environ 90 secondes. 3 Appuyez sur DPL TEST TONE BALANCE L R BALANCE L pour ajuster le CENTER REAR niveau sonore + + désiré du hautparleur avant gauche. � L�afficheur indiquera "BAL L+XX". 4 Appuyez sur BALANCE R pour ajuster le niveau sonore désiré du haut-parleur avant droit. indiquera "BAL R+XX". � L�afficheur 5 Appuyez sur CENTER + ou - pour ajuster le niveau sonore du haut-parleur central. � L�afficheur indiquera "CENT +XX ou -XX".
Surround à fil soit une paire de hautparleurs arrière sans fil (non fournis) aux bornes SURROUND OUT.

Disposition des haut-parleurs
Pour obtenir le meilleur effet sonore Surround, disposez les haut-parleurs de la façon suivante:

Haut-parleur central Pour obtenir le meilleur effet directionnel, essayez de placer le haut-parleur central à la même hauteur que les haut-parleurs gauche et droite, aussi près que possible de l�écran. Placez-le directement au-dessus ou en-dessous du téléviseur. Haut-parleurs arrière (Surround) Les haut-parleurs Surround doivent être disposés à la hauteur d�écoute normale. Ils peuvent également être montés au mur à l�arrière de la pièce d�écoute. Il importe surtout que vous fassiez des essais de disposition afin d�obtenir la projection sonore idéale.
