Excellent manual - just what I needed. Although currently available only in German, their are lots of pictures which makes it all very clear.
* Self-Timer
The self-timer is used in situations where the photographer is included in the shot. When photographer is away from the camera, use a tripod to prevent camera fall. Available Shooting modes: All (�p.42-46)

Setting self-timer
The self-timer setting changes each time you press * (o).
Press the shutter button down halfway to focus on the subject and press the shutter button fully.
Double beep
Beep
Halfway pressed
AUTO
Fully pressed
N

The last displayed setting is the selected mode. : The picture is taken after 10 seconds. (: The picture is taken after 2 seconds.
Pressing the shutter button down halfway that focuses on the subject. Without releasing the shutter button, press the button all the way down (fully pressed) to start the self-timer.
