I AM HIGHLY IMPRESSED BY THE EASE OF USE OF THIS DOWNLOAD SERVICE. INSTRUCTIONS ARE CLEAR AND SIMPLE TO FOLLOW....EVEN BY TECHNOPHOBES SUCH AS MYSELF. THE EMAILS POINT YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION...ITS SO EASY PEASY. THE DOWNLOAD CHOICE OF USER MANUALS IS EXTENSIVE AND I COULD NOT FIND A CHEAPER OR MORE EFFICIENT SERVICE ON THE INTERNET. I COULD NOT HAVE MADE A BETTER CHOICE OF INFORMATION PROVIDER. SHOULD I EVER NEED ANOTHER USER MANUAL, THEN THIS IS THE FIRST CHOICE SITE. The self-timer is used in situations where the photographer is included in the shot. When photographer is away from the camera, use a tripod to prevent camera fall. Available Shooting modes: All (�p.42-46)

The self-timer setting changes each time you press * (o).
Press the shutter button down halfway to focus on the subject and press the shutter button fully.

The last displayed setting is the selected mode. : The picture is taken after 10 seconds. (: The picture is taken after 2 seconds.
Pressing the shutter button down halfway that focuses on the subject. Without releasing the shutter button, press the button all the way down (fully pressed) to start the self-timer.
