Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.
Sicherheitshinweise für den Installateur
Dieses Gerät entspricht bezüglich des Schutzes gegen Feuergefahr dem Typ Y (EN 60 335-2-6). Nur Geräte dieses Typs dürfen einseitig an nebenstehende Hochschränke oder Wände eingebaut werden. Beim Einbau in brennbares Material sind die NIN 2000, Kapitel 4.2.2 und die Brandschutzrichtlinien und deren Verordnungen der Vereinigung kantonaler Feuerversicherungen zwingend einzuhalten.
Elektrischer Anschluss
1. Vor dem Anschluss ist zu prüfen, ob die angegebene Spannung auf dem Typenschild - also die Nennspannung des Gerätes - mit der vorhandenen Netzspannung und der Nennspannung des Kombinatiosnsgerätes übereinstimmt. Das Typenschild befindet sich auf der unteren Verkleidung des Glaskeramikkochfeldes. Die Heizkörperspannung beträgt AC 400 V. Auch bei älteren Netzen mit AC 380 V arbeitet das Gerät einwandfrei. Den Kabelbaum mit den zwei 14-poligen Kompaktstekkern (evtl. Adapterkabel AKT 4261) mit dem Gegenstück von Einbau-Herd, Rechaud, Schaltkasten mit Energiereglern zusammenfügen. Achten Sie bitte darauf, dass die Stecker fest einrasten (Verwechslungen sind bei 14poligen Steckern konstruktionsbedingt nicht möglich). Drücken Sie die Verbindungskabel seitlich auf die Backofendecke.

Evtl. vorhandene Schutzfolien auf der Glaskeramikkochfläche abziehen. Nach dem Anschliessen an die Stromversorgung sind alle Kochzonen zur Prüfung der Betriebsbereitschaft nacheinander in Maximalstellung kurz (ca. 30 Sekunden) einzuschalten.
