Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.
8. White balance setting [WHITE BAL]
The white balance adjustment is selectable from the following. AWC (default): The automatic white balance control mode is activated. This adjustment is suitable for a location where a light source is stable. When "AWC" is selected, the operation to adjust the white balance is required. ATW: Activates the automatic white balance tracking mode. The camera continuously measures the white balance and automatically performs adjustment. If the situation meets one of the following or other, color may not be accurately reproduced. In such a case, select "AWC" to adjust the white balance. � The photographic subject is mostly highly-colored. � The photographic atmosphere is under the bright blue sky or at nightfall. � The illumination of the light illuminating the photographic subject is low. MANU: The white balance is manually adjusted. When "AWC" is selected, follow the steps below to adjust the white balance.
9. Black balance setting [BLACK BAL]
The black balance adjustment is generally unnecessary, but the adjustment is available also by hand. Top screen of SETUP menu

z Point the camera at a white photographic subject. x Hold
down the [BAR (AWC)] button for more than 2 seconds on the front face of the CCU. � AWC starts up and the LED located above the [BAR (AWC)] button blinks. When �AWC OK� appears and the LED goes out, the adjustment is completed.
z Move
the cursor to "BLACK BAL" and press the [SEL] button. � The "BLACK BAL" screen appears.
x Mount the lens cap on the camera lens. c Move
the cursor to "R-PED", be sure to view a vector scope or a waveform monitor when "R-PED" is adjusted with use of the [e] or [f] button. Adjustment shall be performed so that the carrier is minimized.
Note: � �AWC NG� appears. Perform the steps 1 and 2 again if �AWC NG� appears and the LED stays on. When "MANU" is selected, follow the steps below to adjust the white balance.
v Move the cursor to "B-PED" and adjust "B-PED" with use
of the [e] or [f] button while viewing a vector scope or a waveform monitor. Adjustment shall be performed so that the carrier is minimized.
z Select "MANU" and press the [SEL] button.
� The "WHITE BAL" screen appears.
x Move the cursor to "R-GAIN" or "B-GAIN" and adjust the
white balance with use of the [e] or [f] button. "WHITE BAL" screen
