Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

The �q MANUAL� settings are effective only when the Power Switch is set to �M�. [ ] = Factory-preset DIS OFF: Disables the function. [ON ]: To compensate for unstable images caused by camera-shake, particularly at high magnification.

SQUEEZE** : For playback on TVs with an aspect ratio of 16:9. Naturally expands the image to fit the screen without distortion. The indicator appears. When using this mode, refer to your wide-screen TV�s instruction manual. During playback/recording on 4:3 TVs/ LCD monitor/viewfinder, the image is elongated vertically. D.WIDE** : The indicator appears. The zoom range is extended beyond the maximum optical zoom wide angle range. This mode�s wide angle setting is equivalent to using a 0.7X wide conversion lens. Zooming is possible from 0.7X to 10X. This mode is suitable for shooting in a small room. (GR-DF570 only)
** Available only when the VIDEO/MEMORY Switch is set to �VIDEO�.
NOTES:
� Accurate stabilisation may not be possible if hand shake is excessive, or depending on the shooting condition. � The � � indicator blinks or goes out if the Stabiliser cannot be used. � Switch off this mode when recording with the camcorder on a tripod.
5S [OFF]: Disables 5-Second Recording. 5S: Enables 5-Second Recording. ( pg. 43) Anim.: Allows you to record a few frames only. By using an inanimate object and changing its position between shots, you can record the subject as though it is moving. TELE MACRO [OFF]: Disables the function. ON: When the distance to the subject is less than 1 m, set �TELE MACRO� to �ON�. You can shoot a subject as large as possible at a distance of approx. 50 (60*) cm.
* GR-DF470 only
WIND CUT [OFF]: Disengages the function. ON : Helps cut down on noise created by wind. The � � indicator appears. The quality of the sound will change. This is normal.
SYSTEM
The �s SYSTEM� functions which are set when the Power Switch is set to �M� are also applied when the Power Switch is set to �PLAY�. [ ] = Factory-preset BEEP OFF: Even though not heard while shooting, shutter sound is recorded on the tape. BEEP: The beep sounds when the power is turned on or off, and at the beginning and end of recording. It also activates the shutter sound effect. ( pg. 28, 44) [MELODY]: Instead of a beep, a melody sounds when any operation is performed. It also activates the shutter sound effect. ( pg. 28, 44)
NOTE:
Depending on the zoom position, the lens may go out of focus.
WIDE MODE [OFF]: Records with no change in the screen ratio. For playback on a TV with a normal screen ratio. CINEMA** : Inserts black bands at the top and bottom of the screen. The indicator appears. During playback on wide-screen TVs, the black bands at the top and bottom of the screen are cut and the screen ratio becomes 16:9. When using this mode, refer to your widescreen TV�s instruction manual. During playback/recording on 4:3 TVs/LCD monitor/ viewfinder, black bands are inserted at the top and bottom of the screen and the image appears like a letter boxed 16:9 movie.
