The PDF copy was immediately available on download after the payment. However, I noticed that the document was in German, and Ihad to contact a German translator to get it translated it to English. The quality of document is legible can be used for my purpose.

The Philips scope is of excellent quality, longevity and build and had a couple of faults
when it was passed to me. Having the CCT diagrams is a blessing.
I have fixed the problems and also modded the scope to my requirements.
I have built a 24v Li-Ion pack for portable use from old but good laptop batts.

How To Detach/Attach The Lens Hood How To Attach The Lens Cap
To protect the lens, attach the provided lens cap to the lens hood when camcorder is not in use. NOTE: You cannot attach the lens cap directly to the camcorder. The provided lens hood helps block out glare when shooting under bright sunlight, the same way professional photographers do.

Loosen the screw on the lens hood. Turn the lens hood counterclockwise. While slanting the lens hood, align the lens hood with the camcorder�s lens, and then turn it clockwise. Tighten the screw on the lens hood.
To attach
NOTE: Normally, use the camcorder with the lens hood attached. Remove the lens hood only when you use the optional wide or telephoto conversion lens.
Place here during shooting.
