Note � If you enter the wrong PIN code three times in step 6, the SIM will lock. To remove the lock, contact your service provider/SIM vendor. Changing PIN Code This allows you to change the PIN code stored on the SIM. 1. Perform steps 1 to 3 in �Enabling/Disabling the PIN code�.

Handset Lock (M 7-6-2) The Handset Lock is an additional security feature which prevents unauthorised use of the phone or certain features. The default Handset Lock code is �0000�. 1. Perform steps 1 to 3 in �Enabling/Disabling the PIN code�.
