I AM HIGHLY IMPRESSED BY THE EASE OF USE OF THIS DOWNLOAD SERVICE. INSTRUCTIONS ARE CLEAR AND SIMPLE TO FOLLOW....EVEN BY TECHNOPHOBES SUCH AS MYSELF. THE EMAILS POINT YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION...ITS SO EASY PEASY. THE DOWNLOAD CHOICE OF USER MANUALS IS EXTENSIVE AND I COULD NOT FIND A CHEAPER OR MORE EFFICIENT SERVICE ON THE INTERNET. I COULD NOT HAVE MADE A BETTER CHOICE OF INFORMATION PROVIDER. SHOULD I EVER NEED ANOTHER USER MANUAL, THEN THIS IS THE FIRST CHOICE SITE. Using the kettle

Wind excess mains cord around the base of the appliance. Put the base with the kettle on a cool, flat surface, out of the reach of children and put the plug in the wall socket.
Only use the kettle in combination with its original base. 3 Take the kettle off its base. Fill the kettle with water through the spout.

Never fill the kettle while it is standing on its base.

� You can also open the lid to fill the kettle. Do not put less than 0.1 litre of water in the kettle. - If the kettle boils dry, it will switch off automatically but the On/Off switch will stay in the "I" position. After 10 minutes the kettle must be lifted off the base to reset its dry-boil protection, you can use the kettle again. Do not fill the kettle beyond the 'MAX' indication. - If too much water has been put in the kettle, boiling water may be ejected from the spout. 5 Close the lid and put the kettle on its base.
Make sure the lid is properly closed, otherwise the kettle will boil dry.

6 Set the On/Off switch to position "I". The kettle starts heating up. The appliance switches off automatically when the water has reached the boiling point. The On/Off switch returns to the "O" position. 8 You can interrupt the boiling process by setting the On/Off switch to "O". 7
