Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Avant de commencer à utiliser l'appareil, lisez attentivement ce mode d'emploi et conservez-le pour une consultation ultérieure. � � � � � � � Avant de brancher l'appareil, vérifiez que la tension indiquée sur l'appareil correspond à celle du secteur de votre habitation. N'utilisez pas la cafetière si la fiche, le cordon d'alimentation ou l'appareil lui-même sont endommagés. Si le cordon d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par Philips ou par un Centre Service Agréé Philips pour éviter tout accident. Ne posez jamais la cafetière sur une surface chaude et veillez à ce que le cordon d'alimentation ne soit pas en contact avec des surfaces chaudes. Ne plongez jamais la cafetière dans l'eau ou dans tout autre liquide. Débranchez l'appareil: en cas de problème pendant la préparation du café; avant de nettoyer la cafetière. Tenez la cafetière hors de portée des enfants et ne les laissez pas jouer avec l'appareil. Faites attention qu'ils ne tirent pas sur le cordon. Ne laissez pas le cordon d'alimentation pendre du plan de travail. Avant la première utilisation 1 Faites fonctionner l'appareil une fois sans ajouter du café moulu (voir chapitre "Utilisation de l'appareil"). 2 Nettoyez les parties détachables (voir chapitre "Nettoyage"). � Vous pouvez ajuster la longueur du cordon en le fixant dans l'orifice à l'arrière de l'appareil (fig. 1). Utilisation de l'appareil Pour faire du café 1 Remplissez le réservoir avec de l'eau fraîche (fig. 2). � � Les indications de niveau à gauche correspondent à des tasses grandes (120 ml) (fig. 3). Les indications de niveau à droite correspondent à de petites tasses(80 ml).
2 Ouvrez le porte-filtre (fig. 4). 3 Prenez un filtre papier (type 1x4 ou no. 4) et rabattez les bords du filtre, pour éviter de le déchirer ou de le plier (fig. 5). 4 Placez le filtre dans le porte-filtre (fig. 6).

Certaines versions de cafetière sont équipées de filtre permanent. Dans ce cas n'utilisez pas de filtre papier.

5 Mettez le café moulu dans le filtre (fig. 7). Utilisez une dose pleine pour chaque grande tasse. Utilisez une dose rase pour chaque petite tasse. 6 Fermez le porte-filtre (fig. 8). 7 Placez la verseuse sur la plaque chauffante (fig. 9). 8 Mettez l'appareil en marche en appuyant sur le bouton marche/arrêt (fig. 10).
