4-2-5. CUE Head Height Adjustment
Checks 1. Alignment tape play back Play back the alignment tape HR2-1A (from 00:00 to 15:00). 2. CUE head height check (1) Check to see that when portion A of the tape shown in the figure is pressed down, the level decreases. If the level increases, carry out step 3. (2) Check to see that when portion B is pushed up, the level decreases. If the level increases, carry out the step 3. (3) Change the mode from EJECT to PLAY 2 or 3 times. Check to see that the output level is the same as the pre-PLAY level and does not change. If the level changes, carry out the step 3. (4) Change the mode from REV search to PLAY 2 or 3 times. Check to see that the output level is the same as the pre-PLAY level and does not change. If the level changes, carry out the step 3. REV search mode . Press the REW button after pressing the PLAY button. (The PLAY and REW buttons on the keyboard light up.)
