10) Close the joint A which has been loosened in Step (7).

11) At first open the VB valve of vacuum pump. Then, slowly open the LB and HB valves to evacuate the cycle. (Do not apply load to the vacuum pump.)

Open in order of 1 - 2.
12) Execute vacuum evacuation for 20 minutes.(Keep the valves as shown in the figure of Step (11).) 13) After completion of vacuum evacuation close all the valves.

14) Read the indication of charging cylinder. 15) Open the LB valve, and charge the specified quantity of refrigerant through the CB valve.

Seeing the indication of charging cylinder, adjust the specified filling quantity at the CB valve.
